The Grill Next Door is a Gardnerville staple. The staff are always nice and attentive and the owners are also awesome. I love that it has an arcade/game area and a full bar. It's a great place for family and a great place to hangout and enjoy some delicious food. Most recently I tried the cheese steak and it was delicious! We haven't tried breakfast yet but hopefully soon, the menu looks amazing.

What a wonderful hole in the wall kind of spot for great service and affordable yummy food! The biscuits were toasted and scrumptious as was the gravy. My omelette was so fluffy and filled with veggies. We'll be back!

Since my first review was rather negative. I'd like to say this restaurant has really come around. We decided to give them another shot and have not been disappointed!

They had a gluten free bun and dairy free cheese that actually melted! Excellent service and delicious food!

We got here right at 9. Lots of locals. The tables were clean and our server was hurrying and working hard to make everyone happy. The place is big with a full bar. Everyone was happy with the food and delicious Bloody Mary's. I had the basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes and wheat bread. It was perfect!

Definitely the best and most consistent burger in town. Have tried all of them, you can't go wrong. Fish and chips also very good. Friendly service always. Good lil local restaurant, my favorite actually.

I had a really good salad. Iced tea to drink. I didn't know that the Buffalo chicken on my salad meant that it would be pretty spicy. Thankfully, I was able to mute the spiciness with the blue cheese dressing. Very tasty. The server was excellent, very friendly, just the right amount of attentiveness. I will be going back, having a go at one of the other selections on the menu. I liked the vibe. Although there is gambling within the restaurant, no cigarettes, very clean and well ordered.

Stopped by their new location in Gardnerville (has it been 4 years since last visiting?). They took over a sports bar which has some arcade games, TVs and poker machines (which weren't ready for play yet). We sat in the open room with the arcade games, I would not suggest sitting in there again as it gets a little noisy when folks use the machines. We ordered the Danimal grilled cheese once again and I went with the award winning Danimal burger with onion rings. Both were outstanding. The only hiccup was the tomato soup my wife selected as a side with her grilled cheese. Unfortunately, we felt it leaned more towards marinara sauce than a traditional soup, prompting her to set it aside. Upon settling the bill, our attentive waitress inquired about the uneaten soup, and upon learning of our dissatisfaction, she promptly offered to replace it with a clam chowder to go. This level of customer awareness and service is truly commendable, and the clam chowder turned out to be very good. Would recommend and will return.

The place was quite when we got here. We were the only people here, 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon. They were playing good music. Our waitress was nice. Their menu is limited, burgers, grilled cheese, and some sandwiches. The burger was good. The fries were hot and fresh. It took a longer amount time considering we were the only customers there.
